Lopes is a former professional surfer who competed on the ASP World Tour and in the Portuguese National Championships.
His career highlights include becoming Portuguese National Champion and achieving a Top 50 world ranking, reflecting years of dedication, discipline, and life at the highest competitive level.
His passion for travel and the freedom of life on the road led him to discover some of the world’s most beautiful destinations, from hidden surf spots to exceptional local restaurants and unforgettable landscapes.
This journey shaped not only his lifestyle, but also his deep understanding of authentic experiences.
Lopes knows where to find the best waves, the best places to eat, and the most breathtaking views. When he’s not in the water, he enjoys riding his bike, hiking in his local mountains, snowboarding, paddle-boarding, sailing, and spending time in the ocean—always connected to nature and people.
Beyond sports, Lopes built a strong career in the action sports industry. He was the distributor of Hurley in Portugal, represented several surf, skate, and snowboard brands, worked with Nike, and later became Head of Sales for Nike Action Sports. His background is in brand development, customer experience, and international business.
Today
Lopes lives between Portugal and Switzerland, mountains and the sea are his true passions, shared with an equal love for meeting new people and creating meaningful connections.
